WHY WORK WITH ME

Nobody else in the divorce process is responsible for your children's future.

Nicholas Gabriel, Family ForwardTM Strategist

1. The Current Divorce System Is Built Around Helping Adults Separate

Lawyers protect your legal rights.

Therapists help you recover. Mediators help you negotiate.

But who is responsible for protecting your child’s emotional future? That’s the gap in today’s divorce system.

Everyone manages the divorce. No one owns the responsibility of helping your child come through it emotionally healthy.

That’s where we come in.

2. Children Should Never Become The Unintended Cost Of Adult Separation

Marriages sometimes end. Parenting never does. I work with parents who want their children to keep loving both parents, keep their stable routines, and never be caught in loyalty conflicts, carry messages between parents or absorb the harm of adult conflict.

Especially parents willing to place their children's future ahead of winning today's argument.

3. The Greatest Measure Of A Successful Divorce Is Your Child

The greatest measure of a successful divorce is not who wins, who keeps the house or who pays less. It's whether your child continues to experience safety, stability, belonging and the love of both parents despite the marriage ending.

That's why I don't begin with legal strategy and the question of how to complete your divorce. I begin by asking what kind of childhood you want your children to have after it.

Everything else, from child development and psychology to parenting, communication and legal preparedness, is built around answering that question.

THE METHOD

The Family Forward™ Process

Not disconnected counselling sessions or legal consultations. Every family progresses through one structured methodology, with your child as the organising principle for every decision.

1

Protect the Child's Future

Define the future you want your child to experience after divorce: emotional wellbeing, attachment to both parents, routines, education, identity, belonging. Every subsequent decision is organised around it.

2

Align Around Shared Parenting Principles

Build a parenting philosophy that outlives the marriage: values, boundaries, communication norms, decision making. The goal isn't identical parenting. It's predictable, consistent parenting.

3

Build the Family Transition Plan

Translate principles into practical agreements: living arrangements, access schedules, schooling, finances, holidays and communication systems, agreed before legal documents are drafted.

4

Navigate Divorce Without Destroying the Family

Reduce unnecessary escalation with emotional regulation, constructive conversations and coordinated professionals. Where lawyers are needed, they implement your family's agreed direction. They don't determine it.

5

Sustain Healthy Co-Parenting

Support continues beyond the divorce order: cooperative parenting, developmental consistency and conflict management, so your children keep thriving long after the paperwork is done.

Who This Is For

Marriages sometimes end. Parenting never does.

This is for you if

  • You believe your marriage may end, but your children's childhood shouldn't
  • Your children are the priority above everything else in this process
  • You're willing to place your children's future ahead of winning today's argument
  • You want your children to keep loving both parents, without loyalty conflicts
  • You don't want to hand this to lawyers and let the process take over your family
  • You're prepared to lead the process, even if your spouse isn't ready yet

This is not for you if

  • You want a lawyer to fight and win this for you
  • You want to win at all costs, whatever it does to the family system
  • You see your children as leverage in negotiation
  • You're looking for aggressive legal tactics rather than a family plan
  • You need convincing that your children's wellbeing comes first

One spouse can initiate the process.

One committed parent can lead the family towards a more constructive, child focused and less destructive process.

WHAT HAPPENS ON THE CONSULTATION

What you'll get on the private consultation

1

Understand your family's situation

Where you are, what's at stake, and what the best possible plan looks like for your children.

2

Align around shared parenting principles

The values, boundaries and norms that need to survive the marriage, so parenting stays predictable for your children.

3

Build the family transition plan

How the practical agreements come together: living arrangements, schooling, routines and communication, before legal documents are drafted.

You'll leave knowing exactly what protecting your children through this would involve, whether or not you go ahead.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if my spouse isn't on board?

You can still request for the private consultation. One committed parent can lead the family towards a more constructive, less destructive process, and in many cases a spouse who resists the idea of coaching or therapy responds differently when the conversation is about their children rather than the marriage.

Do I need a lawyer?

Most parents hand everything to a lawyer first and let the legal process shape the family. Here, you decide what your children need first, then legal professionals implement that agreed direction rather than determine it. Lawyers may not be necessary for some families. We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice.

Does this work for Muslim divorces?

Not currently. In Singapore, Muslim divorces are heard in the Syariah Court, which is a separate legal track from the civil courts, with its own procedures, requirements and terms. Our process is built around the civil law system, so the legal preparation and coordination side of it doesn't map onto the Syariah Court proceedings. We'd rather tell you that now than take you through a process built for a different system.

How long does it take?

Typically 8 to 12 months, depending on your family's dynamics and legal timeline. It's built around outcomes, not a fixed number of sessions, and support continues past the divorce order so co-parenting holds once the paperwork is done.

How much does it cost?

This is a premium advisory, and the investment depends on what your family's situation actually requires. Figures are discussed openly at the consultation, before any commitment. What's worth weighing against it is the cost of the alternative: a contested divorce routinely runs into legal fees, and the deeper cost is carried by your children for decades.

What if we simply can't agree?

Then you're in the right place to find that out early, and honestly. This process is designed to reduce unnecessary conflict, not to guarantee agreement on everything. Where genuine deadlock remains, that's what lawyers and the courts exist for, and you'll enter that step with your children's needs already documented rather than improvised in the middle of a fight.

BEGIN PRIVATELY
